This new card would allow you to substitute a particular player during an active challenge. The cards would be limited to a certain position, meaning there will be the following substitution cards available:
- Forward substitution card
- Midfielder substitution card
- Defender substitution card
- Goalkeeper substitution card
This would also change the behavior of the bench players. Today bench players are automatically subbed in if there’s a player in your starting 11 that didn’t start. The points from this sub will be added at the end of the challenge. With this new card, bench players wouldn’t be automatically subbed in, but you would use a substitution card to change the player. This allows you to substitute players for any reason, not just the fact that they didn’t start in their real game.
